If you like to have a drink every now and then, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you intend to spend on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You can experience a win following a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you always drink and gamble. The pair simply don’t mix.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little drastic, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is necessary. If you wager to win, then do not drink and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your cash without a worry, then drink all the no charge alcohol you can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your drunken self loses every little thing!

Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then head on to the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condo, however since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and bet.

Why? Even though I don’t drink alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s definitely enough to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both create a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
